About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a dedicated and alert Security Officer to fill the role of an Overnight Fire Watch Security Guard. This position requires an individual who can remain sharp and focused during overnight hours, performing various duties such as conducting rounds, monitoring the premises, and documenting observations. The role is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of the site throughout the night.

Requirements

NEW JERSEY SORA LICENSE REQUIRED
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Comfortable working alone or with a small team through overnight hours
Responsive and strong problem-solving skills
Have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
Have a state license if required

Responsibilities

Conduct continuous fire watch rounds throughout the overnight shift
Monitor the premises for fire hazards, unsafe conditions, and suspicious activity
Maintain accurate logs documenting each round and any observations
Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats
Control access points and verify identities as needed
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a security presence
Write detailed reports on nightly events and incidents
Collaborate with authorities and site personnel during serious situations
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property overnight
