About The Position

The Overnight Dispatcher will be responsible for managing and coordinating field operations during overnight hours. This role involves handling incoming calls, logging critical information, and prioritizing requests to ensure efficient and timely dispatch of resources. The dispatcher will assign routes, schedules, and loads to drivers, and continuously monitor the location and status of mobile units using advanced tracking software. Effective communication via multi-line phones, two-way radios, and computer systems is essential for relaying clear instructions and managing operational flow. This position requires quick problem-solving skills to address unexpected delays, vehicle breakdowns, or routing disruptions, and meticulous record-keeping for operations, incidents, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience with multi-line phones, two-way radios, or computers.
• Ability to prioritize requests based on urgency.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate logs of operations, incidents, and vehicle maintenance.
