About The Position

We are looking for a friendly and customer-service-oriented Courier with a clean driving record to enhance our team. This role involves the timely and efficient transportation of medical specimens and supplies, requiring excellent customer service, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. The courier will also be responsible for documenting operations, completing reports, and assisting with training and communication among the team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
Clean driving record
Navigation, punctuality, and ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to drive in inclement weather
Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs. Occasional lifting of 30-60 lbs.
Ability to enter and exit assigned vehicle.
Able to sit in vehicle/drive for up to 4 hours nonstop.
Ability to load & unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
Regularly handle potentially infectious samples.
Ability to drive assigned vehicle in all types of conditions, including built-up areas, freeway, and rural traffic, hours of darkness, and inclement weather.
May be exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens.
Occasional-to-regular kneeling, bending, stooping and twisting to perform vehicle inspections and minor operator maintenance, including changing tires.
