About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking an Overnight Cook to join their dynamic Food & Beverage Team. This role is responsible for mastering all menus and food items offered throughout the hotel, supporting Room Service, the Bar, Banquets, and Ciclo. The position involves preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner orders from all outlets in accordance with production requirements and established quality standards. The Overnight Cook will work all stations on the line, including grill, sauté, and cold line, and prepare food items with consistent quality by following recipe cards, portion guidelines, and presentation standards. Responsibilities include completing mis en place, setting up stations for all meal periods, and properly managing the temperature of meat and fish. Additional duties include starting food items that require advance preparation while ensuring production does not exceed estimated needs. The cook is expected to scale recipes precisely and to operate, maintain, and properly clean all kitchen equipment.

Requirements

  • Food Handlers Certifications required
  • Work authorization in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years’ experience working in Food & Beverage preferred

  • Operating, maintaining, and properly cleaning all kitchen equipment, including the deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat‑top grill.
