About The Position
This structured overnight CMT schedule offers consistency and predictable days off, with 3 nights per week from 6:45pm to 7:15am. The role involves maintaining communication with the Charge Nurse, participating in shift reporting, recording resident data, completing documentation, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Requirements
- A valid CMT in the state of Missouri
- Experience as a CMT / CNA in long term care
- Ability to pass a criminal background check & drug test
- Ability to reliably commute to this job’s location
Responsibilities
- Maintain open and ongoing communication with the Charge Nurse regarding resident needs, concerns, and changes in condition within the assigned work area
- Participate in shift-to-shift reporting by giving and receiving accurate updates on resident status during handoff with oncoming and off-going staff
- Record resident weights, vital signs, and other required clinical data accurately and in a timely manner
- Complete documentation of resident care information, including charting tasks delegated by the Charge Nurse and monthly summaries as assigned
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, coordinated care and support across all departments
