About The Position
This role is for an Overnight Center Store Clerk. Candidates must be available to work between 9:30 PM and 5:30 AM, including weekends. The position offers approximately 24-32 hours per week. This role involves providing customer service, stocking shelves, processing incoming product, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of various store departments.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Must be available between 9:30 PM - 5:30 AM
- Must be available to work weekends
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
