About The Position
This role involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Key responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments such as Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. The position also entails processing incoming product, understanding shelf tags, sorting damaged goods, and operating equipment like hand jacks, power lifts, and cardboard balers. Maintaining cleanliness of shelves, displays, and storage areas, adhering to company safety guidelines, and meeting productivity standards are also essential aspects of this role. Training will be provided at the store level.
Requirements
- Candidates MUST be available between 6am-10pm and weekends to be considered
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
