About The Position
This role is offering 24-32 hours per week. Candidates MUST be available between 10pm-6am on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays to be considered. This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform: You could expect the position of center store clerk to include the following.
Requirements
- Candidates MUST be available between 10pm-6am on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays to be considered.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates.
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates.
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments.
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
