About The Position

This center store clerk opening is for our Lake St. Louis, MO location. Candidates MUST be available between 2pm-10pm and weekends to be considered. This role is offering 20-25 hours per week. You could expect the position of center store clerk to include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments, processing incoming product, sorting damaged product, operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and meeting productivity standards. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Available between 2pm-10pm
• Available weekends
• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (Internal Candidates - Store/Facility Teammates)
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (Internal Candidates - Store Support Center Teammates)
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline) (Internal Candidates)
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance (Internal Candidates)
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour
• Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
• Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
• Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
• Able to pull loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments.
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Sort damaged product for credit
• Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
• Maintain company productivity standards
