About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is looking for compassionate and dependable Overnight Caregivers to be the comforting presence our clients can count on throughout the night. Your dedication provides safety, comfort, and peace of mind to both our clients and their families. We are currently hiring dedicated caregivers to serve clients throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge. Caregivers must be willing to travel and work throughout our service area based on client needs, availability, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Valid Social Security Card and Driver’s License or State ID
• Minimum of 1 year of home care, caregiving, or facility experience
• Availability to work overnight shifts (8:00 PM–8:00 AM or 9:00 PM–9:00 AM)
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with families and office staff
• A compassionate attitude and genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s life

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Support mobility and daily routines
• And more, based on each client’s individual needs
