About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join their team as CAREgivers. The mission is to help seniors remain safely in their homes while aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Every day, the relationships built and the compassion provided will make a lasting difference in the lives of clients. The role offers support from a dedicated leadership team, valuable experience, and career growth opportunities. Experienced caregivers can participate in a 6-week mentoring program to support and guide new team members. Comprehensive, paid training is provided through the Caregiver Development Program, including hands-on instruction and ongoing monthly education.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- A compassionate, patient, and caring attitude
- A genuine desire to help seniors age safely at home
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Support clients with errands, appointments, and medication reminders
- Assist with dementia and Alzheimer’s care
