About The Position
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as caregivers in Cumberland, White, and Putnam County Tennessee. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Our office is located in Crossville, TN but after your interview and orientation, you will only have to come to the Crossville location 2 times a year. Your clients will be in your area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from clients' homes in Cookeville, TN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health and well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with light housekeeping and errands as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to supervisory staff.
- Ensure client safety and adhere to all care policies and procedures.
