About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking a dependable overnight caregiver in North Port to provide one-on-one care and companionship to a senior in the comfort of their home. This is an opportunity for caregivers who prefer overnight shifts and are looking for meaningful work with a supportive team. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and caregivers without CNA or HHA certification who have hands-on caregiving experience. Requirements

• Professional caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable and comfortable working overnight hours
• Must respect client privacy and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Overnight companionship and supervision
• Assistance with bathing and toileting
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation when needed
• Following the client's individualized plan of care
• Communicating professionally with families and the office team
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Providing companionship
• Other duties as assigned
