About The Position

Interviewing for caregivers to work with a young adult in a wheel chair. We are looking for experienced caregivers with at least 1 year of experience. Caregiver will need to use a hoyer lift and be comfortable with providing personal care such as showering. Shifts are 9am-9pm and 9pm -9am. Many of our clients need personal care assistance or assistance getting in and out of their bed or wheel chair. Work one-on-one with clients in their home. Clients and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences to support long-term relationships.

Requirements

• Past Experience as a caregiver
• Hoyer lift experience or willingness to learn.
• A passion for the job and helping others.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
• A hunger to learn how to best care for your client.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily living activities.
• Using Hoyer lift to assist client
• light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation and laundry as needed
