About The Position
This role is for an Overnight Camp Kitchen team member who will play a critical role in keeping camp operations running smoothly for campers and staff. It is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful outdoor setting while supporting operations that create lifelong memories for youth. The camp season dates are from 6/28/2026 to 8/22/2026, with pre-camp training beforehand. The pay rate is $400 per week, with room and board included.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to read and follow all safety information, labels and instructions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in the preparation, serving and cleaning up of meals served in camp
- Follow all serve safe, organizational, and local/state/federal guidelines and regulations regarding food preparation and service
- Maintain the kitchen, dining hall and food storage areas in a clean healthful condition
- Maintain an effective working relationship with other camp staff utilizing positive communication strategies
- Maintain an attitude of positive flexibility to meet the overnight camp program needs
