About The Position

Freedom Home Care is hiring dependable Overnight Awake Caregivers to support clients during overnight hours. This is an awake position, meaning you will remain alert and available throughout the entire shift to provide safety, comfort, companionship, and assistance as needed. This role offers a calmer, more rewarding way to use caregiving skills compared to fast-paced facility settings, focusing on personalized care for one client at a time. The ideal candidate is reliable, independent, and someone others can count on.

Requirements

• Previous professional caregiving experience is required
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle of your own
• Current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS Background Study
• Ability to work morning and/or evening shifts
• Availability for an every-other-weekend rotation
• Dependable and professional communication

Responsibilities

• Remain alert and available throughout the entire shift
• Provide safety, comfort, and companionship to clients
• Provide assistance as needed
• Provide meaningful one-on-one care in a client's home
