About The Position
Doing Things is seeking a Fall 2026 Intern to join its Overheard Branded team. This internship will be based in NYC and requires candidates to receive school credit. Doing Things connects consumers globally through humor and happiness, creating relatable, humorous, and entertaining content across various platforms. The company manages popular brands like Middle Class Fancy, Shithead Steve, Overheard, Recess Therapy, Bob Does Sports, and Animals Doing Things, with over 35 unique brands and a daily output of 100+ content pieces reaching over 80 million followers. Their business extends to consumer products, branded content, video licensing, publishing, and original entertainment.
Requirements
- Must be a college student, with availability to receive school credit
- Background in marketing, communications, social media, PR, brand content, etc.
- Extremely online - strong understanding of internet culture, what's trending, etc. (+ familiarity with social platforms)
Nice To Haves
- Strong writing skills
Responsibilities
- Building creative mocks for campaigns (using Canva and or Photoshop)
- Providing proactive/reporting support - monitoring and analyzing content performance, competitors, social trends, etc.
- Strategy support - helping develop creative concepts
