About The Position

Performs complex analysis with minimal direction and supervision. Works directly with EPRI staff and engages in supervised interaction with members and industry. Supports technical research and project work, including conducting technical searches, analyzing information, and carrying out some independent research with support from technical leads. Assists research leads with customer needs assessments, technical approaches, proposals, publications, and presentations. The role also involves presenting technical work at external conferences and meetings and understanding how EPRI programs fit into the organization’s mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform complex analysis with minimal direction and supervision.
• Ability to conduct technical searches and analyze information in support of project work.
• Understanding of other EPRI programs and how program work fits into the EPRI mission.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical searches and analyze information in support of the project team.
• Conduct some independent research with support from technical leads.
• Assist technical research leads in assessing customer needs and formulating technical approaches.
• Assist with preparing proposals, technical publications and papers, and presentations.
• Present technical work at external conferences and meetings.
• Understand other EPRI programs and how specific program work fits into the EPRI mission.
• Work directly with EPRI staff and engage in supervised interaction with members and industry.
