About The Position

The Overhead Crane Service Technician II travels to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment. The position involves working in production environments, frequently at considerable heights and in hot or cold conditions. Travel, including some overnight travel, may be required.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of crane service technician experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in production environments, with some overnight travel possible.
• Ability to operate a company phone and computer.
• Ability to work extended hours and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand or walk 95% of the workday.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40–50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
• Ability to push or pull material with equipment assistance.
• Hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity, including gross and fine motor skills.
• Depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to hear.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer production facilities.

• Complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
