About The Position

The Overhead Crane Service Technician II travels to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment. The role involves working in production environments and frequently at considerable heights, with exposure to hot and cold conditions. Some overnight travel may be necessary, and extended hours or holiday work may be required.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of crane service technician experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in production environments; some overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to operate a company phone and computer.
• Ability to work extended hours and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand or walk for 95% of the workday.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40–50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
• Ability to push or pull material with equipment assistance.
• Hand-eye coordination and bilateral dexterity, including gross and fine motor skills.
• Depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Ability to hear.
