This role will perform various tasks while working out in the field. Installations, repair service and preventative maintenance including inspections of overhead cranes, hoists and other material handling equipment. This role is not currently vacant. This job posting is maintained on an ongoing basis to identify qualified candidates for future opportunities.

Requirements

  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Current driver's license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
  • Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Nice To Haves

  • Welding experience an asset
  • Electrical (309a/442a) or Mechanical (433a) License is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Perform crane inspections, repairs, installations and respond to breakdown calls
  • Inspect hoists, cranes, systems, chain falls and pullers
  • Display a professional image and work within a team environment to accomplish goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
