About The Position

The Overhead Crane Operator supports shipping and receiving by safely operating overhead cranes to move steel plate and keep the warehouse organized. By placing materials where they are needed, the operator helps ensure customers stay on schedule. The work takes place in a fast-paced industrial environment and involves staying active throughout the shift, working in changing seasonal temperatures, and getting dirty.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have basic math and computer skills.
• Have basic literacy to read work instructions and safely use hand tools.
• Be responsible, thorough, careful, and persistent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes to move steel plate.
• Organize warehouse materials by placing them in the appropriate locations.
• Support shipping and receiving operations so customers stay on schedule.
