About The Position

The Overhead Crane Operator supports shipping and receiving by safely operating overhead cranes to move steel plate and keep the warehouse organized. The role helps place materials where they are needed so customers stay on schedule. This is an active, fast-paced industrial job that involves working through seasonal heat and cold and getting dirty.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have basic math and computer skills.
• Be able to read work instructions and safely use hand tools.
• Be responsible, thorough, careful, and persistent.
• Be able to walk, stand, and remain active for up to 8 hours a day.
• Frequently lift, push, or pull material weighing up to 51 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes to move steel plate.
• Organize the warehouse by placing materials in the right locations.
• Support shipping and receiving and help ensure customers stay on schedule.
