About The Position

The Overhead Crane Operator supports shipping and receiving by safely operating overhead cranes to move steel plate and keep the warehouse organized. By placing materials where they are needed, the operator helps ensure customers stay on schedule. This is an active, fast-paced industrial role involving work through changing seasons and exposure to dirt. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Basic literacy to read work instructions and safely use hand tools.
• Responsible, thorough, careful, and persistent approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes to move steel plate.
• Organize warehouse materials to support shipping and receiving.
• Place materials where needed to help keep customer orders on schedule.
