About The Position

Job Responsibilities & Requirements Afternoon Shift (Monday to Thursday) 4:30PM - 2:30AM Possible overtime on Fridays 2:30PM - 8:30PM What You Will Do: Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Moving coils from the coil bay to behind presses using a forklift. Performing coil changes by loading coils onto decoiler using a crane and feeding coil into the press. Emptying scrap bins daily, using a forklift. Preparing coils by cutting straps and coil ends. Assisting press operation when needed e.g. miss hits. Unloading trucks during coil deliveries using a crane. Scanning coils to track/update location changes and inventory levels. Wearing all necessary PPE including Metatarsal Safety Shoes and a Hard Hat whenever operating a crane. Required Experience Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience operator a forklift and/or crane is required. Communication Skills: Can effectively communicate with other staff in a respectful and honest manner. Reasoning Ability: The ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Comprehend job training and safety instructions. Physical demands: The ability to safely perform heavy lifting (up to 70lbs) Expected Salary Range: From $22-23/hour This position is for an existing vacancy.
