Requirements

  • Understand the basic operations of pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including machinery alignment and rigging principles.
  • Relevant experience in a service-related field, with a focus on electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with good depth perception.
  • Must have completed mandated field hours and demonstrate competency in the role.
  • Familiarity with crane rigging procedures is essential.
  • Maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to perform tasks independently and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Static Stepless experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to establish work procedures.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair overhead cranes, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Repair hoists and various pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems through ongoing training, industry workshops, and technical literature.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance program for both onshore and offshore cranes.
  • Monitor competitive activities and contribute positively to the company’s image and reputation.
  • Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment effectively.
  • Adhere to driving guidelines for the assigned company vehicle.
  • Accurately identify all types of crane components.
  • Identify and request necessary replacement parts to facilitate repairs.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Understand and comply with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, within the physical constraints of the role.
