Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of plasma coatings experience.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Plan and perform work to set up and operate various manual and automatic part treatment, heat treat, flame spray, and coating equipment.
Perform work on Overhaul & Repair parts using established methods and techniques with provided tooling and fixturing.
Perform braze fab prep, assembly, and masking as required.
Follow standard practices and operating procedures for striping, cleaning, and braze fab operations using equipment such as manual and automatic grit blasters, water jet machines, and dry baking ovens.
Set up and operate automatic and manual flame spray, plating, painting, and coating equipment for overhaul & repair parts.
Set up, operate, load, unload, and monitor heat treat furnaces for braze heat treat, stress relief, and sizing operations.
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of spray units, guns, nozzles, seals, fittings, and filters in the assigned area, following operator checklists to ensure proper equipment operation.
Assist others with new part process tryout, repair, and other specialized assignments within the scope and skill level of the job description.
Refer difficulties to the leader/supervisor.
May be assigned tasks not specifically listed but within the scope and skill level to support department objectives and develop skills.
May be required to train for, obtain, and maintain licenses, operator permits, and certifications within the assigned area.
