We are recruiting several general laborers to work in our warehouse, in the sample preparation department. Apply to join our team and play a key role in supporting our high-volume summer operations.
Requirements
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic alphanumeric understanding
- Basic English communication skills (written and oral)
- High school diploma (Grade 12) preferred
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and dispose of cartons on carts for weighing stations
- Return and scan cartons for storage after weighing
- Assist with weighing tasks as needed
- Sorting, sieving (including international soils), grinding, and splitting under direct supervision
- Loading and unloading drying ovens under supervision
- Maintaining production records
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain laboratory cleanliness
- Assist with setup tasks and other duties as needed
- Use appropriate methods in accordance with established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality
- Adhere to established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as required
