About The Position
Fully trained upholsterer capable of independently completing standard upholstery tasks with consistent quality and efficiency. This role involves independently upholstering standard furniture frames, reading and interpreting work orders, patterns, and specifications, and selecting appropriate materials such as fabric, foam, and springs. The position requires ensuring consistent quality and adherence to company standards, identifying and correcting minor issues without supervision, and maintaining productivity expectations. Additionally, the role may involve supporting the training of Level 1 employees.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in upholstery techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality (4-way match, spot, flow-match/direction of fabric)
- Solid understanding of materials and tools
- Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or operate machine as directed
- Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects 51-75 lbs.

- High school diploma or GED preferred
