About The Position

This role is responsible for growing and expanding Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market. The Outside Software Account Representative builds their own pipeline from the ground up through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting to meet a predetermined sales quota. As you begin selling in your local market, current Thryv clients will be added to your book of business for additional growth opportunities. The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office. Prospects and qualifies new business opportunities within an assigned territory, identifying local business owners who are the right fit for Thryv's platform. Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs. Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.). Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed. Thryv is the growth engine for small business — and we always have been. Requirements

3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company)
2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required
Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.
Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)
