About The Position

Outside Services Staff assist guests and members with all aspects of their golf experience, including reservations, food and beverage, green fees, and membership. The primary focus is providing guest service at the Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth. The role supports golf bag, cart, and practice-range operations; maintains clean, stocked, and ready-to-use equipment and outdoor areas; and follows established opening, closing, and company procedures. The position works predominantly outdoors, without effective protection from the weather, and may involve significant noise or vibration.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Minimum lifting capacity of 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend and lift items weighing at least 40 pounds overhead for storage.
• Ability to transport food and cooking utensils with food products weighing as much as 10 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical activities including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking or pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members in a warm, friendly manner.
• Help guests and members with golf bags, loading and unloading bags onto carts, club-cleaning services, and the bag storage system.
• Transport clubs to and from vehicles and pick up and drop off golf bags at the bag drop.
• Assist golfers with carts and equipment.
• Distribute scorecards and pencils to golfers.
• Remove golf carts from storage and stage them for play.
• Clean, wash, detail, and restock golf carts before and after each use.
• Immediately communicate damage or deficiencies involving the golf course or carts.
• Maintain constant communication with Golf Pro Shop Services.
• Set up, reset, and break down the golf practice range.
• Collect, organize, and keep range baskets and balls clean.
• Follow proper opening and closing procedures for cart and range operations.
• Maintain cart cleanliness, supplies, condition, and battery readiness.
• Assist Golf Pro Shop Guest Services.
• Keep outside areas neat, clean, and stocked, including through trash pickup and restroom and water-station upkeep.
• Report for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.
• Know and comply with company policies and procedures relevant to the position and its duties.
