About The Position

Driving Range/Cart attendants assist in the day-to-day golf and driving range operations. This includes staging/washing carts, turning on/off the range machine, staging range baskets, loading the range machine with clean range balls, and picking up range baskets. The position is variable and requires a minimum of 3 shifts per week. The City of Arvada promotes Equal Pay for Equal Work, and starting salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. The listed pay rate is $15.16/hr.

Ability to maintain adequate attendance.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and in writing, to support organizational objectives and interact with all levels of personnel within the city in a positive and cooperative manner.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
Must be at least 16 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Previous golf course experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for picking up the golf balls on the driving range, washing and loading range balls in the range ball dispenser, staging/cleaning carts.
Drives and operates a golf cart, range picker and marshal cart.
Communicates in a friendly, responsive and professional manner to customers and co-workers.
Must be available to work a minimum of 3 shifts/week.
Performs other duties as assigned.
