About The Position

Western States is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to spearhead our growth to join our expanding team. We don’t just offer a job; we offer a career. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients and driving revenue growth in Label and Envelope Sales. You will be key in expanding our market presence and contributing to our continued success. We'll provide the training, tools, and support you need to succeed.

Requirements

  • Must live within daily commuting distance from Milwaukee, WI.
  • Upon completion of the minimum 6-month training program in Milwaukee you will RELOCATE to your territory.
  • Valid US driver's license, personal vehicle, great driving record, insurable.
  • Computer Literacy Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel almost daily within your territory.
  • Relevant prior outside sales experience or recent graduate with a Sales-focused degree.
  • Strong negotiation and listening skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities in Label and Envelope sales, manage your own accounts, and drive revenue growth in a recession-resistant industry.
  • Identify and target potential clients within your assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and in-person meetings.
  • Present, demonstrate, and become a subject matter expert for our existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
  • Build and price quotations for customer orders.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with our production facilities to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
