About The Position

Linder Turf & Tractor is committed to putting our customers first. Our parent company has been selling and servicing equipment since 1953. In 2018, we began our turf and tractor division, and since then, we've grown to 7 Linder Turf and Tractor branches in 3 states. The Outside Sales Representative is a key role focused on expanding and managing the customer base for Deutz-Fahr/Kubota tractors and agricultural implements. This position is responsible for driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction through effective communication, product knowledge, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Must have agricultural sales experience with equipment sales preferred.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Clear and concise written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Possesses in-depth understanding of Deutz-Fahr/Kubota products and the agricultural equipment market.
  • Prioritizes customer needs and ensures a positive experience.
  • Addresses and resolves issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with customers, management, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales prospects and assess how Deutz-Fahr/Kubota’s products can meet their needs.
  • Showcase the benefits of Deutz-Fahr products to potential customers, highlighting their features and advantages.
  • Stay informed about the full line of products, including their features, benefits, and updates.
  • Monitor and analyze competitive products and activities within the territory. Stay up to date with market trends and communicate relevant information to management.
  • Keep current with available financing options and assist customers in understanding these options.
  • Document customer interactions and new contracts accurately. Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Work to resolve technical and customer issues efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibits, and demonstrations.
  • Keep track of new product developments from both Deutz-Fahr and competitors, providing feedback to management as necessary.
  • Report any significant changes in the territory that could impact the company’s success.
  • Ensure that equipment is delivered as ordered and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Manager to resolve any credit or payment issues effectively.
