About The Position

The DH Pace Company, located in Denver, Colorado, aspires to hire an experienced New Construction Residential Sales Representative who will specialize in building relationships and selling door and door products to residential general contractors and builders. DH Pace is a family-owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices located across the continental United States. The Company is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking and security products. In 2026, DH Pace is celebrating its 100th anniversary in business.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years outside selling experience to general contractors and builders
  • Mechanical aptitude (Experience with blueprints/plans and specs highly desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to easily establish rapport with new customers
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must have excellent organizational, communication and relationship building skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Design customized door solutions
  • Promote line of products and services to potential customers daily.
  • Make sales presentations that include product samples and design software
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customer’s needs, and sell technical and mechanical good and services.
  • Build solid, long-lasting relationships with general contractors and builders in an assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
  • Provides timely and accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
  • Other duties as assigned
