About The Position

Municipal Emergency Services (MES) is looking for a Rescue Tool Specialist to assist Fire Departments and other First Responder departments in their assigned territory with extrication tool needs. The role involves working closely with existing customers and new prospects throughout the entire sales cycle, providing end-user training and product setup when necessary. This is a full-time position with the potential to earn significant monthly commissions. MES is the nation's largest supplier of personal protective equipment, extrication equipment, law enforcement products, and services to the first responder market.

Requirements

Outgoing, customer-focused, organized, self-disciplined, and motivated by money.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 60 lbs.).
High school or equivalent education.
Minimum 2 - 3 years in a similar position.
Prior experience selling to fire equipment.
Driver's License (Required).
REAL-ID is required to work in Federal sites.

Nice To Haves

Technical Rescue Experience 5 years +
Fire and Rescue experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

Assist Fire Departments and other First Responder departments in the assigned territory with extrication tool needs.
Work closely with existing customers and new prospects through the entire sales cycle.
Provide end-user training and product setup when necessary.
Effectively listen, communicate (verbally and written), and negotiate.
Perform business math, including gross margin calculations.
Utilize basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
