About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (General Tool/Rental) to develop new business, maintain strong customer relationships, and deliver innovative solutions in general tool and construction equipment. Expected earning potential of $90-150K in the first year. The role involves prospecting and developing new customers, maintaining and growing existing accounts through exceptional service, coordinating with operations on equipment availability and rental programs, delivering presentations and business reviews to management, and ensuring accurate customer records and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years in direct sales or project management within the equipment industry
• Strong business development and customer retention abilities
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn engineering concepts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs, work indoors/outdoors, and occasionally travel for customer visits.

Nice To Haves

• Power generation or testing equipment background preferred
