About The Position

Moeller Precision Tool is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team and focus on strengthening relationships and growing underutilized accounts in the Southeast Michigan territory. This role is ideal for individuals with engineering, design, or supervisory backgrounds who are mechanically inclined, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable interacting with customers. The company will provide comprehensive training and support for those transitioning into sales. Moeller Precision Tool, established in 1953, is a global leader in precision tooling for the metal forming and stamping industry, with a strong presence in North America and Europe. Requirements

  • Michigan Residency
  • Proximity to Wixom, MI
  • Mechanical aptitude is required—whether through hands-on experience, education, or previously related roles.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Willing to occasionally travel.
  • Comfortable working remotely.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in our products, processes, and sales approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the metal forming/stamping industry.
  • Familiarity with machining processes is helpful.
  • Experience in technical sales, industrial sales, manufacturing sales, or customer-facing roles preferred (including account management, technical support, quoting, or client relationship management)

Responsibilities

  • Cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Lead sales efforts in the assigned territory (SE Michigan) with provided tools and marketing leads.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Participating in industry trade shows to showcase offerings.
  • Manage an established, underdeveloped SE Michigan territory with significant growth opportunity.
