Moeller Precision Tool is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to operate out of Southeast Michigan. This role is ideal for individuals with engineering or technical backgrounds who are looking to transition into a sales career. The primary focus will be on strengthening relationships and growing underutilized accounts within the assigned territory. The company provides comprehensive training and support, making it suitable for those who are mechanically inclined, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable interacting with customers. Requirements

  • Michigan Residency
  • Proximity to Wixom, MI
  • Mechanical aptitude is required—whether through hands-on experience, education, or previously related roles.
  • Experience in technical sales, industrial sales, manufacturing sales, or customer-facing roles preferred (including account management, technical support, quoting, or client relationship management)
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Willing to occasionally travel.
  • Comfortable working remotely.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in our products, processes, and sales approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the metal forming/stamping industry.
  • Familiarity with machining processes is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Lead sales efforts in your assigned territory (SE Michigan)—tools and marketing leads supplied.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating with our Sales Team to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Participating in industry trade shows to showcase our offerings.
  • Manage an established, underdeveloped SE Michigan territory with significant growth opportunity.
