About The Position

Compressed Air Equipment Inc., a renowned industry leader specializing in the sales and service of Industrial Air Compressors, is actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Outside Technical Salesperson. We operate extensively in southern NJ, Eastern PA, DE, and the northern parts of MD, offering industry-leading brands and exceptional service and repair on all air compressor equipment types.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the compressed air industry and or technical sales is a mandatory requirement for this position.
• Self-starter with high levels of energy and self-motivation.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Working knowledge of a geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining existing accounts while also identifying and cultivating new business opportunities to meet specific sales targets.
• Presenting technical equipment proposals and quotations for bid projects and customer inquiries.
• Generate service and equipment proposals, quotations for bid projects, and customer inquiries.
• Coordinate with inside team, service, and sales support staff in management of accounts, including parts procurement, service, and maintenance to enhance customer retention and loyalty - effectively manage all aspects of the buying cycle.
