About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services. This role involves working within a defined geographic territory targeting clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. The primary responsibilities include identifying and signing new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions, as well as selling additional solutions to existing clients. Daily tasks involve cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads from established business partners, assessing client or prospect needs to present the best ADP solutions, and spending time in the field closing business. The company provides high-quality sales training and teaches the use of the latest sales technology. The role requires integrity, resilience, positivity, and a refuse-to-lose attitude, with challenges expected to drive determination and success. Requirements

  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business by closing sales, winning business, and reaching sales goals, working independently and collaboratively within assigned geography.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Cultivate additional business within existing accounts by selling cloud-based human resources solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
