About The Position

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to support growth within the LED lighting division. This role is responsible for managing an assigned territory, developing new business, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate has outside sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide value-driven lighting solutions. Experience in lighting or electrical products is a plus.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of outside sales experience
  • Experience selling within a defined territory
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and general business software
  • Basic math skills related to pricing and discounts

Nice To Haves

  • Lighting or electrical product sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a sales territory across NJ, NY, and PA
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Sell and promote LED lighting products to new and existing customers
  • Provide guidance on lighting solutions, including fixtures, energy efficiency, and smart lighting technologies
  • Analyze territory performance and act on opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Follow up on quotes, orders, and bids to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer inquiries and provide tailored solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
  • Provide regular updates to the Lighting Sales Manager
  • Attend supplier trainings, trade shows, and networking events as needed
  • Support overall business growth through additional duties as assigned
