URM Stores, Inc. is looking for its next dynamic Outside Sales Representative (OSR) to join our Foodservice team. As our OSR, you'll be on the front lines of the food industry—building relationships with Chefs and purchasing professionals while representing URM and our valued customers. We’re deeply connected to our food community and proud of the impact we make every day. This position will support our customers within the Sandpoint, Idaho footprint. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous sales experience at a Broadline Distributor is strongly preferred.
  • Broker representation with an emphasis on foodservice preferred.
  • Restaurant Ownership with a strong knowledge of menu costing and menu development is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in the foodservice Industry is a plus.
  • Computer program experience is a must.
  • Competency in Database Management and Microsoft Office suite is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
  • Bi-lingual is a huge bonus!

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new customers through cold calling and making effective face-to-face presentations.
  • Crush your margin goals and hit your sales budgets!
  • Effectively collaborate with a variety of people in internal and external departments.
  • Must be comfortable meeting with prospects and customers.
  • Turn those potential prospects into customers.
  • Make regular sales and service calls on existing foodservice accounts.
  • Build regular customers into higher volume accounts.
