About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate profitable business from the equipment offered by the assigned profit center. The role develops an assigned territory, implements sales plans to grow the business, maintains the current customer base, and helps build Sunbelt’s national brand identity. The position offers an opportunity to use cold-calling and closing skills in a high-demand market and to develop along a sales or operational management career track. Compensation includes base pay, a company vehicle, and a commission plan.

Requirements

• A four-year college degree in a related field and at least one year of related experience, or three to four years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment.
• Spanish bilingual ability may be preferred in some locations.
