About The Position
At IdeaTek, we are seeking energetic, motivated individuals to join our team as Door-to-Door Sales Representatives. As the face of IdeaTek in the community, you will introduce our fiber internet services to neighborhoods, build trust, educate homeowners, and help families experience the benefits of a better internet provider. We provide comprehensive training and support, making this role accessible even without prior sales experience. The position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions
- Ability to work primarily in the field, including afternoons, evenings, and some weekends.
- Ability to walk several miles each day and work outdoors in high summer temperatures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, and CRM software.
Nice To Haves
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Previous door-to-door, outside sales, or face-to-face customer service experience.
- Telecommunications, internet, cable, home services, or other consultative sales experience.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales or performance goals.
- Experience using CRM software or mobile sales applications.
Responsibilities
- Introduce IdeaTek's fiber internet services to homeowners throughout your assigned territory.
- Build relationships with prospective customers through face-to-face conversations and follow-up communication.
- Educate customers on service options, pricing, promotions, and installation timelines.
- Guide customers through the sales process from initial conversation to completed order.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM.
- Consistently achieve individual sales goals while providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Represent IdeaTek professionally at neighborhood events, community activities, and local promotions.
- Stay informed on products, promotions, and competitive offerings to confidently answer customer questions.
