About The Position

GlobalVac & Air is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to drive growth for their environmental remediation division. In this role, the representative will be the primary point of contact for environmental engineering firms, consultants, and industrial clients, offering tailored technical solutions for complex subsurface contamination. The role requires leveraging technical expertise in Groundwater, Soil Vapor, and Bio-Sparging technologies to provide innovative, cost-effective remedial strategies. GlobalVac & Air is a subsidiary of Flow Control Group (FCG), a leading solutions provider focused on technically oriented products and services for flow control, fluid handling and process, industrial automation, and life sciences with locations throughout North America.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of subsurface contaminant transport and the mechanics of Soil Vapor Extraction (proficiency in vacuum technology and vapor treatment).
  • Knowledge of Bio-Sparging/Air Sparging (dissolved oxygen (DO) stimulation and volatilization processes).
  • Experience interpreting hydrogeological data to determine optimal injection/extraction rates.
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales, ideally within the environmental or engineering services sector.
  • Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into value-driven solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, or a related science field.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with environmental consulting firms and industrial end-users.
  • Advise clients on the selection and application of remediation technologies based on site-specific soil and groundwater data.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to propose systems for Groundwater Remediation, Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE), and Bio-Sparging.
  • Conduct educational seminars and technical sales presentations on the benefits of integrated SVE and air-sparging systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including remedial design concepts, cost estimates, and performance expectations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulators and industry influencers to stay ahead of evolving compliance standards.
