About The Position

This role involves sales lead generation, product and application customer training, territory and industry specific strategic planning and execution, customer relations maintenance and development, technical applications review, and cost analysis for profit maximization. The representative will also manage vendor relations and participate in cooperative sales calls and training. Monthly reporting to a Supervisor is required. The primary goal is to achieve the sales budget for a defined group of user customers and drive regional, corporate account business strategies and new product introductions. This includes conducting in-plant sessions and seminars to educate users on company products and services, and representing the organization in providing solutions associated with the sale and marketing of products. Previous performance must have demonstrated superior Conceptual, Technical, People, and Organizational Skills plus a Strong Work Ethic. Training will involve learning company products, applications, selection processes, and industries served through in-house, external, and on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in industrial sales and/or management
  • Creative thinking
  • Entrepreneurial thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and selling skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Must have or be capable of developing strong technical knowledge of company products
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at management and hourly maintenance levels
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process flow
  • Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing priorities
