About The Position

Flagship Signs is a growing commercial signage company serving businesses throughout Columbia and surrounding South Carolina markets. We specialize in high-impact commercial signage including storefront signs, dimensional letters, large-format panels, and installation services for commercial clients. As demand continues to grow across the Carolinas, we’re looking to add a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional to help expand our customer base and support increasing inbound lead volume. We are seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys building relationships with business owners and decision-makers. This is an opportunity for a true hunter mentality salesperson — someone who is self-motivated, personable, and capable of managing opportunities from prospecting through close. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, following up on inbound leads, and generating new business opportunities throughout the territory.

Requirements

  • Prior outside sales, B2B sales, or business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Hunter-style sales mentality
  • Comfortable working in a field sales environment
  • Basic measuring and tape measure proficiency
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Professional appearance and customer-facing communication ability

Responsibilities

  • Generate new commercial business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Follow up on inbound marketing-generated leads
  • Prospect and develop relationships with local businesses
  • Meet with business owners and commercial decision-makers
  • Conduct site visits and basic field measurements
  • Coordinate project details with internal production and installation teams
  • Maintain customer communication and pipeline activity
  • Deliver professional customer service throughout the sales process
  • Support repeat business and long-term client relationships
