About The Position

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join their team. This role is crucial for driving new business growth and managing existing accounts within a designated territory. The representative will be responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying waste and recycling management needs, and delivering customized solutions. This position contributes directly to the company's success by meeting and exceeding sales goals and advancing sustainability within the Waste and Recycling Industry.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the waste management or a related industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and drive sales success.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (preferably Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the designated territory to meet with clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a successful sales funnel, seeking opportunities with prospective accounts for waste and recycling solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Conduct engaging presentations and demonstrations to highlight the value of our waste management services and solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure new business opportunities and renew existing agreements.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions, leveraging this knowledge to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates using Salesforce.
