Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial sales experience in power transmission, aggregate, material handling or a related industry
- 2+ years of outside sales or account management experience
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand industrial products and applications
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented professional with a strong hunter mentality and passion for business development
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience serving aggregate industry customers strongly preferred
- Experience with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned territory with regular local travel
- Develop and expand relationships within both existing and new customer accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Create and execute strategic sales plans for territory development
- Prospect, qualify, and convert new leads
- Maintain and strengthen key account relationships
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to introduce and promote new products and solutions
- Build trusted partnerships with engineers, maintenance professionals, purchasing teams and operational decision-makers
- Participate in product training and mentorship programs to expand technical expertise
- Work closely with experienced inside sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer support
